Attached to this base there is a wooden dowel that moves up and goes into a thin cylindrical metal shape. The top of the metal cylinder is also wooden. Attached to the top third is a think cylindrical bulb holder holding an exposed round bulb. The hardware pieces are colored to a white finish while the wooden parts have been left with a clear varnish.
